Job description
The mission is to define, implement, support and continually improve user friendly, high quality and secure computing, office automation and mobility solutions for the European Commission.
Some of the tasks:
- Product life cycle management actions, including elaboration of a work breakdown, effort and project implementation schedule
- Management of on-boarding of new projects, including detailing a strategy and planning and assisting in the evaluation of suitability of prospect projects
- Provision of quality plans, quality assessments, quality control tests and evaluations associated with the project
- Activities associated with ensuring that project activities are implemented according to project plans and quality standards, deviations from project targets are identified and preventive/corrective measures are taken to tackles potential issues
Your skills
Minimum requirements:
- Ability to work autonomously, managing his/her own workload independently, providing status updates, liaising with others and escalating issues as appropriate
- Have an excellent command of English (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of project management methodology based on PMI/Prince2 or PM2
- Have experience with Agile development methodologies
- Ability to apply high quality standards
- Technical redaction skills in English

- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communication skills
- Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment
- Experience in delivering presentations in high-level events
- Experience in working with decision makers
- Previous experience in working with the EU intuitions
